Ensuring social guarantees for ordinary and commanding officers of the civil protection service is an extremely urgent issue in modern conditions, especially in the context of Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine. Rescuers constantly face a high level of risk to life and health, performing their professional duties in extreme conditions. They often work in conditions of fires, floods, man-made disasters, shelling from Russia and other emergencies. The paper presents the author's scheme, which reflects the main difficulties faced by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine during the period of hostilities. The authors of the paper visualized proposals for social guarantees of ordinary and commanding personnel of the civil protection service in the form of a convenient scheme for perception. The scheme covers aspects such as higher wages, better health care, housing provision and psychological support. It is concluded that social protection of employees of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine is an urgent issue, especially in the context of Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine. In order to resolve the issue of remuneration of ordinary and commanding personnel of the civil protection service during the period of martial law and in accordance with the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine "The issue of certain payments to military personnel, ordinary and commanding personnel, police officers and their families during the martial law" developed regulatory documents that are successfully used in civil protection bodies and units. Although the legislation provides certain social guarantees for rescuers, there are a number of problems that need to be addressed at the legislative level. It is determined that there is a problem of insufficient awareness of rescuers about their social rights. The paper emphasizes the priority of providing social protection to servicemen and their family members who suffered as a result of Russian aggression. To this end, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine introduced an electronic cabinet of the victim, which simplifies access to social services.
