Статтю присвячено дослідженню окремих аспектів речового права як суб’єктивного цивільного права. Зазначена правова категорія є добре відомою сучасним науковцям, адже бере свій початок ще з часів Стародавнього Риму та дійшла до сьогодення майже без змін. Однак різного роду суспільні відносини, їх розвиток, поява нових тощо справляють постійний вплив на речове право загалом, його ознаки та структурні елементи, тож системне вивчення даного суб’єктивного цивільного права є актуальним у всі часи. Досліджено поняття речового права, яке залишилось поза увагою вітчизняного законодавця; класифікація речового права; ознаки речового права та його співвідношення з правом зобов’язальним; визначено, що право власності та право на чужі речі є ключовими інститутами речового права; окреслено способи захисту речового права.
